Using Tabula
This guide is written for contributors signed into the dashboard. The sections below mirror the unified contributor sidebar you get after sign-in—the same group order (Dashboard, then Content, then My Activity). Administrator-only sections (Management, System, and similar tools) do not appear in your menu and are not documented here.
Quick orientation (contributor sidebar)
Where your work happens (same sequence as your sidebar):
- Dashboard — Overview, then Contributor Dashboard.
- Content — All Tabula pillars (Geography, People, History, Language, Nature) with subtabs in the URL (for example Dictionary (Tabula Language)); then Imyazi, Tuyandike, Ganuula, Tusobanure. The Content section below lists every pillar and editorial link.
- My Activity — My Profile, Notifications, My Activity (timeline), and My Contributions (including pending, approved, rejected).
Across the shell you also have notifications and profile / theme / sign-out controls (often near your avatar).
- Bookmarks: Share exact subtabs—for example Tabula Language · Dictionary.
- Community chats happen on Lola Kifuliiru—not inside these pages.

- Sign up when your organisation enables it—email or SSO as configured.
- Confirm email if prompted.
- Sign in.

Some installs require admins to approve new accounts—if login fails after signup, Contact.

Contributor vs viewer vs admin menus

Notifications about reviews, mentions, or publish state usually aggregate in Notifications and the bell area in the chrome.
Content
Contributor Content group follows this order—each Tabula pillar is one parent route; submenu items open the same URLs as the sidebar, with a tab in the query string—for example Utwaya.
